Googled Out

So, I feel like I've sold my soul to Google. Initially it felt like a good idea to have a platform that keeps track of all of your bookmarks forever, tracks your browsing history, and makes recommendations based on what you've visited forever. I considered Google a very good quirky friend. But, Google has no way of knowing when you've clicked on a page or two or three accidentally in the span of one or two days. No, my recommendations have not changed, but I'm concerned. I was watching the local news when I saw that the Craigslist sex trade has moved to Backpage. I visited Backpage and searched for an apartment out of curiosity. I googled and found a town in Washington with a seedy Motel 6. A prostitute had a Backpage account, and that enabled the police to positively identify her. Also, in the article was the other website one of the John's admitted to using to find this prostitute tna.com. I didn't think before typing this url, seeing that it was THAT (duh t and a, palm to forehead) and abruptly closing it. I'm still a Bob Tilton fan. Yeah he's a crook and a scam artist, but he's really great to watch (fun to watch didn't really fit here and neither did complex, so I used the word great-dunno why). I've been wondering whatever became of him, and finally found Tilton after searching for awhile. I see that he's on Facebook and that someone on FB kept posting links. Out of curiosity I clicked (and because I have Norton). I thought maybe the link would lead to some more articles on how Tilton tricks people out of their money and jewelry, but it led to a pornish site. Doh! On another note, I now have two blogs on here though I only wanted one. I could not remember the cell phone number I had the last time I recorded one for this account on Google. Subsequently, I found it somewhere else. Now I have a blog about my The Walking Dead Musings in addition to this one that has been going for nine years now!
